RULES

Roller Skating is a fun sport, but there are risks involved. Please read our safety guidelines that make you aware of the risks involved and your responsibilities as a skater.

 

  • Roller Rink Wexford reserve the right of admission and to remove persons from the venue for any reason including behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of Roller Rink Wexford staff.

 

  • All personal skates must be clean and in good repair. NO MISSING WHEELS OR SHARP EDGES.

 

  • In the interest of foot safety and hygiene, every person renting Skates must wear socks. (Socks may be purchased for €1.00).

 

  • When your skate session is over, please tuck laces inside the Hire Skates and return them to Skate Hire.

 

  • While skating; no pushing, Fast, reckless behaviour, tag playing, or skating in an unsafe manner that may jeopardise the safety of others is not permitted.

 

  • We recommend that you use a helmet, knee pads and wrist guards. (Helmets can be hired for €2.00 per person)

 

  • No carrying of children whilst on skates at any time!!

 

  • When your skate session is over, please tuck laces inside the Hire Skates and return them to Skate Hire.

 

  • Please report all accidents to management or a member of Staff.

 

  • No cameras, phones or photography on the rink

 

  • No spectators are allowed on the skating rink. Please use the viewing areas provided

 

  • Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction, unless otherwise instructed by the skate marshals

 

  • Please listen to the skate marshals; they are there for your safety!

 

  • No Hooded tops, scarves or studded belts are to be worn inside the premises for health and safety reasons.

 

  • Skate within your own ability

 

  • No skates are to be worn in the toilets. Get your shoes from the skate desk and put them back on. You may retrieve your skates afterwards.

 

  • No skates/rollerblades to be worn entering or leaving the building.

 

  • No smoking

 

  • No bad language

 

  • Strictly NO chewing gum

 

  • NO food and Beverage items can be brought into the building.

 

  • All food and drink are to be kept in the snack bar area.

 

  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs WILL NOT be allowed on the premises.
  • In the interest of safety, all shoes, coats, purses, and personal belongings must be secured into the Cloakroom/Lockers. Please DO NOT leave personal items of value at the snack bar tables. Roller Rink Wexford is not responsible or liable for any item(s) deemed lost or stolen.

 

  • Roller Rink Wexford Management reserves the right to inspect Skates, Skate Bags, Bags or similar items when entering or leaving premises.

 

  • Parents will be held fully responsible for the conduct and actions of their children.

 

  • Persons entering the Roller Rink Wexford premises assume all risks regarding accidents and injury to themselves.

 

 

Roller Rink Wexford wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Skating experience. In the interest of safety, sportsmanship and consideration of all guests (particularly children) and staff, we would appreciate all parties observe and respect the rules and regulations whilst on our premises.
